Bootcamp is a military style outdoor group workout designed to improve Cardiovascular fitness, increase lean tissue, reduce body fat, and help shed a few of those holiday pounds, while of course adding that fun and excitement back into your workout.
Each session will challenge every muscle in the body,using the environment, your own Bodyweight, and various equipment, such as tyres and sandbags, to get an all over workout. Group training is a great way to stay motivated, with a combination of team events, partner work, and solo races. It’s also the perfect way to meet new people and and put the enjoyment back into your training.
Monday: 6.00 – 6.45am And 18.00 – 18.45pm
Wednesday: 6.00 – 6.45am
Thursday: 18.00 – 18.45pm
Friday: 6.00 – 6.45am
Who is the Instructor? James Flatman is a Level 3 NASM Certified Personal Trainer with all the necessary qualifications and insurance.
What’s involved? A Par-Q Form will be completed prior to your first session. Each session is 45 mins of a variety of exercises and workout plans, all adapted to meet the needs of your fitness level.
Do I need to be fit? Not at all, the groups may be split into different fitness levels to achieve the greatest possible results for each individual.
What will I need to wear? Anything you don’t mind getting a little dirty.
What type of exercises will be involved? A lot of the exercises involve your own Bodyweight, such as squats, push ups, lunges, sit ups, and light jogging. Some exercise may involve the use of equipment such as, tyres, sand bags, kettlebells etc, based on your fitness level.
Will there be safe parking? Yes. There is a car park at the Ipswich Sports Club.
